The results of this year’s  Research Support Survey are now available.

The survey is conducted by Library and Learning Resources at the University of Lincoln every year, and looks at UL researchers’ experiences of library resources and services.

As in the past four years, researchers were invited to complete a questionnaire relating to their awareness, usage, and satisfaction with services and resources provided by Library and Learning Resources. Researchers were also invited to suggest improvements.

The questionnaire was made available online during April 2009. Researchers were also contacted by their Subject Librarians, and the survey was advertised on the portal and researchers’ blog. In promoting the questionnaire, changes that had taken place and improvements initiated as a result of the 2008 survey were emphasised to show researchers that action is taken as a result of their responses. Paper copies were available for those who preferred this method of completion, although all but one completed the online survey.

The response was lower this year than in the previous two years. 63 researchers completed the questionnaire compared with 102 responses in 2008, and 70 in 2007.
