E-books from ebrary: export to RefWorks

It’s now possible to export the details of an ebrary e-book to your RefWorks account. Ebrary say…

Based on your requests, our products now integrate with RefWorks and EndNote for easy citation management. End-users may choose to enable RefWorks, EndNote, or both under “My Settings.” Once enabled, these options appear under the new InfoTools™ menu in QuickView™, as well as in search results and personal bookshelves.

In order to export to RefWorks, first you must click on “My Settings” in the top right-hand corner of the ebrary screen:

Then tick the box marked “Show RefWorks buttons” and hit “Set Preferences”:

The screen will now read “Your preferences have been updated”.

Now, when you view any e-book within the ebrary platform, you can export the bibliographic details to RefWorks by clicking on the “InfoTools” button in the top left-hand corner of the screen, and selecting “RefWorks” from the drop-down menu:

This will fire up your RefWorks account. If you’re not already logged in to RefWorks, click on “Athens users” and follow the links to log in via the University of Lincoln:
