The University Library are pleased to announce that Lincoln students and staff can now access more than 580 full-text electronic journals from JSTOR. We know that for many researchers in the disciplines of history, English, performing arts, theology, architecture, art & design, media, journalism, psychology (…and more!), this will come as great news.

“JSTOR is a not–for–profit organization dedicated to helping the scholarly community discover, use, and build upon a wide range of intellectual content in a trusted digital archive.”

The University of Lincoln has full-text access to the JSTOR Arts & Sciences collections I, II and III.

You can access JSTOR via the University Portal, at:

We’re working on proper off-campus access to JSTOR. For the moment, you can access individual titles from on campus only – though you can log in to, and search JSTOR as a whole from off-site via the Portal.

JSTOR have some useful video tutorials, e.g.:

They also have a page on Facebook.

If you have any questions about JSTOR, please contact your Academic Subject Librarian. We’ll post any updated information relating to our JSTOR access here on the Winch.
